New Client

Now that's a reputation that can't be surpassed!

One of the greatest thing about our country, that everyone deserves competent representation when charged with a crime. We joke about lawyers, but there aren't many of us who would be free without them. Bravo Caj, just don't get too close.

Try wearing your MC leathers to your next meeting he just may open up to you....Maybe Not...

So I speak with a new client who is in shackles and the obligatory orange jumpsuit and quite frankly I am thankful he is in shackles as he has that "look".
Speaking with the DA later on and I pass the comment that the guy seemed a bit on the scary/crazy side. He looked at me and said rumor on the street is that the Banditos threw him out of their gang because he was too crazy for them!!
Oh well.............

The guys resume just screams, hire me Caj as your collections manager.

If he offers you a GOOD deal on a slightly used Harley, think long and hard before you give him an answer.

BTW- When you say he has that "Look", does that mean he has that "9 miles of bad road in a bar fight look"? :eek:You know the one where you are going to be involved in a long rough one if you start fighting. Yeah that's what I thought.

There was a time in my young life when I was offered to prospect with the Hells Angels. I was stationed in Germany with a guy that rode with the Angels, according to him there wasn't a group worse than the Bandidos. He said they made the Angels look like a Girl Scout Group, the Angels have cleaned up their act quite a bit,

Maybe, "cleaned up their act" is a bit of a stretch. They attempted to kill, and did seriously wound, five rival gang members in a Sturgis campground in 06'.

Of course two "citizens" were bitten by rattlesnakes while leaving a concert, that same year, with one later losing his lower leg, and the other passing on, two days later. So, there can be danger anywhere.

From what little I know of the Angels and the Banditos, I do not want to get "cross-wise" of either.

I also do NOT envy Caj. A wrong outcome for a defendant is sometimes,(often ?) blamed on the attorney; as per the fore- mentioned "Cape Fear" !

Caj, I'm just glad that I chose another career path besides lawyering. After reading your post here, my earlier judgment has been confirmed in spades...

You sure got cajones.

Good luck!

John

I have had the dubious pleasure of being up close and personal with some people like that. Their view of the world or society in general would send shivers up the spine of most "normal" folks. I spent over 22 years as a street cop and I sincerely believe there are some people who are just evil. I know it sounds sorta funny but there are people out there doing things that any normal person would think only happens in a movie. There are evil people and I have seen some of the terrible things that these sick bas^&%ds can and will do to other people. The world isn't as nice as most of us would like it to be. Just my thoughts from the Big Sky Country, and yes we have more than our share of evil criminals in Montana. Be safe all keep your powder dry and your head down.

westy39 makes an important point here. I live in Iowa and most people imagine it's a state full of farmers growing corn and soybeans. But let me tell you...we have plenty of really scary white trash in this state who are often meth heads or worse. We've had several cases of this human debris raping and murdering little girls whose mothers are also meth heads.

Do not assume you're safe because the ghettos are somewhere else.

I was stationed in Germany with a guy that rode with the Angels, according to him there wasn't a group worse than the Bandidos. He said they made the Angels look like a Girl Scout Group, the Angels have cleaned up their act quite a bit, locally working with Toys for Tots, etc. There is always the fringe element but groups like the Bandidos give every biker group a bad name.

I've known a few Bandidos, along with some members of affiliate gangs. They have a tendency to say the same of the Angels.

For the most part, if you stay out of their way they stay out of yours. Don't get between the two groups though or you'll be caught in the crossfire.
