Nope, not a S&W, but it's been fun so far and I haven't even shot it yet.

I'm not an AK type of guy, never owned or even fired one, but recently I picked up this Saiga 12; its a 12 ga AK. They are used by the Russian Army in standard AK configuration, but to make them importable the trigger is moved to the rear (where the pistol grip usually is) and a sporter stock is installed. So, naturally, I had to correct things by putting it back in its original configuration.

Never having taken an AK apart before, the process was very educational. Although several times I felt dumber than the "illiterate peasants" these were designed for. Who ever heard of a "shepherds crook" in a gun???

Here it is with a 10 round mag, I also picked up a 20 round drum for it.

It's a black gun... kind of military looking... aren't those more deadly than other kinds of guns?
Yes. Yes they are. Now I need to get a "shoulder thing that goes up" for it to be totally deadly.

Make sure to keep it locked up in the safe at all times, as those have been known to load themselves and go out on their own to perpetrate killing sprees.
