Well, after looking at this site (among others) for the past two weeks, I decided to pull the trigger on an M&P C.O.R.E. 9mm today. I went into my LGS and all they had was a 5" 9mm core, 4.25" 40 core, so I went ahead and told him to do the 40 cal 4.25". The guy came back about 5 mins later (He went to get the box for the 40, and had a 4.25" 9mm core. I bought it! I looked around and they had the Burris Fastfire 2, and Trijicon RMR in stock. I noticed the Jpoint and CMORE coupons in the box with the gun, but went ahead an grabbed a fastfire 2 (that's all my budget allowed for. I can't wait to get home and clean and lube, and get the sight on. I am going to see how it looks and feels with the fastfire 2. With the coupon included for the jpoint, I could order it with 2 day shipping and be at the same price I paid for the fastfire 2, so I may end up going that direction, depending on how the fastfire is after mounting. Anyone have any experience with each of these sights? Pros / Cons of each vs each other? I have seen a few posts on here with the fastfire mounted, and a few other sights compare the two with the burris getting the nod for its steel and glass construction over the plastic and whatever construction on the jpoint. Seeing how they are both about the same in price (minimal difference) I want to get whatever is going to be the best. I plan on actually using this as a carry gun for a while, and see how it goes. Primary use will be competitions.
