Hello wanted to say thanks for the forum. I really enjoy reading all the information and viewing the photos. It has been very helpful to me. I am retired and live out in the Ozark woods on Bell mountain. Yes we have mountains in Mo. even though they are not real big. I have a 617 4",a 586 4" classic and a 629 3".I bought a new six shot cylinder and hand that I installed in the 617 .I also found a set of n frame round butt conversion diamond grips I fitted to it. I also have the same grips on the other two .Did all that with information I read on here .My first was a model 57 when I was 18 in the military .I was still too young and let it go. I was going PCS and selling my furniture and a guy traded it to me for my front room furniture. It was beautiful in the wood case. Wish I kept that one. thanks
