New member in Hawaii

...Aloha!! hahah I used that for my Intro title..I spent about 3 and half years at Wahiawa NAVCAMS EastPac for my first duty station...USMC ....guard duty ....I couldn't have asked for a better place..also took a trip to Kaui
...I just bought a 9mm EZ

Yes, great place to serve. My daughter was stationed at Schofield Barracks, so I flew into Oahu to visit her. My first extended stay in Hawaii.

Small world

I visit my son's place in New Concord every summer, and pick up ammo I can't get in Hawaii.

Well there seem to be a lot of us ohioans on here. Many of us not too far from new Concord.
Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of ammo do you get here that you can't get in Hawaii? I know almost nothing of Hawaii gun laws, save for the fact that they're restrictive.

Welcome aboard from ol' Wyo.

S&W originally shipped one of the 4-screw Chiefs in my herd to
Honolulu Sports Co., Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii, on February 4, 1955.

Enjoy your time here. Great folks.

Last summer I picked up some 3 1/2" shotgun shells for my new Mossberg. It's hard to find anything unusual here on Maui. Just part of living on an island. Yes, the gun laws are restrictive here. The difficulty getting ammo is mostly due to problems with shipping.

Howzit Joe. Yeah, no way to bring a carry gun to the beach. Can't leave it in the car. The state is trying to squash concealed carry rights.

Interesting

It's crazy how different things like that are state to state. I dont remember the last time I went to my lgs and there weren't any 3 1/2" shells. Heck, I even see 16g and .410 shells all the time now

A hearty Buckeye welcome from Ashtabula County, Ohio!

This Model 25-2 was purchased from a gun shop in Hawaii,

Kevin

Welcome from Ashtabula County, Ohio! The furthest Northeast you can go before PA.

Do I know you? I live in Ashtabula County too and know a guy who wears a straw hat at my local gun club. I have this odd feeling we have met.
