First Post, I have a 340, DOB Nov. 2008. I would like to change my front sight to one you can see in very dim light, though about a lazier but would rather not. Is there a problem changing it? Would paint that glows work, ect. Any though out there? Its my EDC Thanks RPW from Tn.

Welcome to the forum RPW. I have read on here that some folks use florescent orange model car paint, although I have never tried it.
Hope this helps.
Peace,
gordon

Welcome to the forum.

There are quite a few posts about painting sights. Some use nail polish, others model paints, and still others glow in the dark paint.

I used some fluorescent orange paint on a couple of mine. While they don't glow in the dark, they are alot easier to see with my old eyes, and that's all I wanted.

Use the forum search, you'll find a number of alternatives.
