Thanks to some of the forum members here for helping me with this, I went and picked it up today. Serial is C525643. The guy I purchased it from got it from the original owner and what little wear it has appears to be drawer wear. Looking at the backplate and turn line this appears to have hardly been fired. I'm not normally a fan of square butt snub nose pistols because the grips look out of sorts with the rest of the gun, but the Modified Magnas really help on the look on these. If someone can help with a nearby ship date it would be appreciated. Here's a few pics after a good cleaning.

According to the book, it was between 1961 and 1962 (C474149 - C622699)

Great find!

That is a little gem.

Bet it shoots a good as it looks too.

Congrats.

Twig.

Stunning. I am on the other side of the fence from most folks as I love the square butt grip as it fits my hand so much better. I'm filled with envy.

Ah...ah...ah. Don't ever say that some stocks can look large on a revolver with a short barrel.

my laptop is soaked from me drooling into it !! I just love model 10 snubs. For goodness sakes don't let that one get away from you, it is a beauty. I've got a 10-7 that's got some wear places on it but I love her just the same.--congratulations.

You Sir are one lucky guy. Excellent photos of one very fine revolver, well done.

GREAT Model 10 snub Jeff. I have its "uncle" from 1947. It's seen a bit more action.
