Just picked her up tonight!!!

Threw my Primary Arms 30mm red dot on already! Ordered up a BC charging handle over the weekend and a Magpul Handguard & Angled foregrip... what else do you guys recommend doing?

A set of fold-down backup/"iron" sights.

Just remember that you can't safely put a polymer front sight on the gas block rail. Personally, I like the MagPul rear sight.

Great choice ! Congratulations! I have the same model and I also added a BCM Medium Gunfighter and love it. You definetly need some iron sights. I chose Troy flip-up Battle sights. Great sights but a little on the pricey side. My favorite add-on has to be the Magpul ACS-L stock. Its nice and solid with a great cheek weld. I also added a Troy QD Back-plate. Mine came with Magpul MOE furniture. the Magpul MOE handguard is very comfortable and light but I plan on adding a Daniel Defense Omega 7.0 free-floating quad rail to mine later on. The possibilities are limitless with the OR. Have fun!

The first thing I would get is a set of irons, at least 10 mags and 500 rounds of ammo. ;)

I like it. I have an OR also and it has been literally flawless in performance for about 4,000 rounds. I also run the PA red dot you have. Great choice.

I'd change (or I did change) the stock to either the MOE or STR. Great cheek weld with both and a great feel. I'd also go with (I did go with) the MOE grip as well. I've tried a couple and always come back to this one.

Backup sights are nice if you run your battery down at the range but if you are using this for any kind of defensive carbine, then yes, backup sights are a good idea. Sling also and a light.

Have fun with it!

If you decide to change out to Magpul accessories go to Otto Firearms LLC as they have the best prices and $5 flat rate shipping. It is also a small company so help the little guy out! Enjoy your OR. BTW- mine is dressed in foliage green.

Thanks guys, backup sites are a must i will look at the ones mentioned, i did order the Magpul accessories from Otto Firearms he was by far the lowest i found online, even lower than the range I have a membership at. The range however did have pmags so I picked up two gen 2's for only $19 each which they are selling to members only so I will try to hold out with only three for now, but I agree on at least 10 reloading sucks!!! I will post up some pics once i get it accessorized :D

Instead of regular BUIS, consider offset ones. That's what I did. Red dot is nice and clear without any co-witness, and the irons are useful...just twist the rifle a bit and you have a great CQB sight (and back-up)

Have fun!
