Hello everyone, glad to join you. I live in massachusetts, and I just got a great job working at smith and wesson. I'm 23, associates in mechanical engineering, and working as a CNC operator on the new M and P 15-22. I have shot many guns, but really dont know that much about them, anyway, I'm glad to join and cant wait to buy my first gun, still haven't decided on what yet.

I think you ought to just pick one up at work!:D

Welcome from Missouri!

Glad to have you here. We love the stuff you are now building. Good luck with your career with S&W. In a sense, you are part of history.

welcome aboard - been using your products long before you were born - and I still love em and rely on them even with mim and il

Don't forget to take some pictures the owners don't mind having in a public venue. We LOVE gun porn!
WELCOME!
And Congratulations on your position!

Welcome. Being an inside man, would you say, "Boy, do we need to offer the M&P series in 10mm." hunderds of times a day, everyday.

I would have to start with the M&P 15-22. One that I machined. ;)Welcome to the forum

Welcome from Texas mthor86. Great forum, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

I am soooo jealous!

Thanks

Thank you everyone for the welcome. I do think that my first gun will be the M and P 15-22 not only because I'm making the bolt and carrier for it, but because I love the gun, the squirrels are gonna be scared, lol. I also like the 340 CT for a carry gun, I also cant wait to get my hands on the 460 XVR. It is really cool knowing that I work for them and make awesome guns, I just happened to stumble across this forum, never knew that they had one, but thanks again everyone. I'd love to hear all your opinions, I need to check out the rest of the forum and everyones information. Thanks.

Welcome and hope you have a great career at S&W.

Wait until you wade thru the BS to get a MA LTC. You head is likely to explode trying to comprehend all that crap.

Very cool job to have. I'm an oilfield mechanical engineer and love S&W products. I went to school in Mass. but live in TX. I bet you'll enjoy working there.
