Sometimes things work out right. I was at work and one of the guys says hey can you help a friend of mine out and clean up a rusty smith for me. Hands me a 14-2 Dayton. I said your friend want to sell it? Yup. Tell him I have 300 bucks cash money. Calls him and says sold. Worked on it soaking for 3 days and I feel very fortunate to replace a gun I sold years ago. Came out pretty good. Should have taken some before photos.

Was "speckled" light surface rust. Used kroil oil and hoppes and let soak and eventually lightly brushed off. Mainly by the cylinder release and yoke screw.
