New (to me) 44 Spec load

H Richard and keith44Spl; thanks for the load information, I'm picking up a 624 3" that gets out of jail on Monday. Looking forward to trying a few different loads to see what it likes best, but it sounds like you guys have beat me to it and saved me a little time. I've been after a 3" 24/624 for years and finally found one, which is no small feat in the PRK. Thank God I'm moving to Arizona next month. I expect to do a bit of desert explorin' with that little gem on my hip.. Next trick is to find my old leather working tools and try to put together something like Dave makes. I don't expect to come anywhere close to his craftsmanship, but I'd like to see what I can do. I also hope to cut a deal on a Model 58 this week. Just waiting on the call.

To the OP, SR4756, like pretty much all of the DuPont SR powders, is very, very good stuff. It has come to be somewhat forgotten these days. Maybe the change from DuPont manufacture to others, and the sometimes spotty supply is the cause?

Sorry to hear it has been discontinued. Again.
