New to me 66-1 + 629-1 Stainless beauties

The local shop knows Ive been looking for a 629 or 629-1 and a week or so ago he texts me that one came in, It was a 629-1 with the 8 3/8" barrel, While I would prefer a no-dash, Any are rare to find in the wild, And I always try and find them in the wild as anyone can watch GB, Well I get to the shop today and this lovely is pristine, Great lock up and timing and can't find a mark on it, BUT as I was waiting for it to be pulled from the back room, I spied a 66-1 in the case, I asked to put that aside while I was looking at the 629, I said I would take the 629 and looked at the 66-1, Also in great condition, Well, Please don't tell the wife, But I bought them both home,
The 66-1 is pinned and recessed, The 629-1, Not.
I know some will ask, So 629-1 $775 and 66-1 $595
These came from a small shop in Pittsburgh Pa and I am so happy to finally have the long barrel 629 in the collection and was super happy to find the 66 in the same trip,
What a Thanksgiving special !
Cant wait to hit the range tomorrow to test them out, "Im sure they are 100%"

Very nice looking revolvers. I know some people can handle magnum K-frames with magnas, but I can't. I'd need a set of targets for the Model 66.

You made a lucky catch. Two fine revolvers in one trip! Congrats on your new weapons and I hope you enjoy the day at the range with them.

Wow! Those are great prices in today's market. I wish shops around here had such good deals. Unfortunately, most of what I see in my local shops is full retail, top-dollar pricing.

I missed a 629 locally that was $600, But this one is in much nicer condition,
Unfortunately I haven't been able to get to the range, But I am sure they will both be just fine, Its nice to finally find nice ones in the world at a good price!
