That is very nice! I just got my first 28 a very short time ago. I hope you like yours as much as I like mine!

Very nice! A+ on your first N Frame .357 both for condition and model. Now be prepared to buy more N Frames .357's. It just happens.

Nice going Chris great looking HP
May I recommend a 3 1/2" pre 27 next ?
You do realize that's a square butt Right

Thank you,
Do you a have a 3 1/2" gun in mind, I'm thinking one of those would look good around here.
This HP had a pretty nice set of heretts thumb rest target stocks,:D
I changed them out for the photo.

I don't see that many revolvers in 357 mag locally. Never a colt or s&w. I did find one ruger security six in unused condition after two to three decades of looking, browsing for used revolvers in 357mag. I guess someone traded it in for plastic.

I think anything in a 38, 357, 41 & 44 mag in a revolver will be a rare find.
The manufacturers just aren't pumping them out as they once did. Now the new to be gun owners come along and the demand goes up? Things will get even more rare as the plastic craze in the production line is taken over.

Looking into the future we need no crystal ball. Look at the revolvers that are offered new today. There are less and less offerings in finish and barrel length wise. Will the guys who like revolvers become extinct? I don't think so. The demand will increase ten fold. Don't throw out the machinery that manufacturers revolvers just yet.

I think BigBill is right. Even if you think you may have overpaid on a nice old S&W right now it will seem like a bargain in a few years.
