N36XXX Price turn line but no holster shine
Cost? Is 1 K too much?

Really need pictures to validate condition/value but that said, it's been awhile since I've seen a 3.5 inch 27-2 with original grips in good condition for less than $1k, much less a "safe queen" with box. Pictures please.

Well Groo01, you've been a Forum member long enough to know that pictures are always required whenever a member makes a purchase! LOL! $1K for an early N-prefix 27-2 in nice condition with 3-1/2" bbl. and with the original box (even in poor condition) is a great buy. If you're a DIY guy, you can probably do some repair work on the box and improve its looks. I'll wait to congratulate you when I see some photos of your acquisition. Enjoy!

Paper money

Paper money in your pocket loses value every day. A nice Smith in your safe gains value every day and puts a smile on your face. I can think of nothing better to spend $1000 on. Looking forward to pictures and range report.

How does it compare to this one? Nicer up to $1200 worse down to $800.

No, it's not, IMO.

Different regions of the country see different values for the same gun. In the South (for example), revolvers will bring a bit more than they would in the NE or West Coast.

Search on Gun Broker's closed auctions. See what other 27s sold for & you'll quickly get your answer.

I own a 29 & 28. If I saw a 27 in good to excellent shape for $1k, I'd be all over that.
