Don't know where to put this. Im pretty sure its older than a 1960 but I don't know. So here go some numbers. I would post pics but I don't know how yet. serial no. C 25031. Numbers and letter inside the yoke N above 281 24. Its 38 special with a pinned barrel has wooden grips with checkering and a diamond in the middle, it has five screws counting the one in front of the trigger guard.
fixed sights.

The Catalog says # C1 was from 1948. Next entry is # C223999 in 1952, so it's somewhere in there.
It is probably a Military and Police revolver, later to become the M10.

Well took her out today and shot her. I was very happy and surprised. Shot Federal round nose lead fairly well about 4 inches high at ten yards, and my reloads about 3 inches high at the same distance. That was with a center hold on a 3 inch target. My reloads grouped better, quite a bit, so I quess its regulated to shoot at 20 or 25 yards. very happy.:D
