I'm new to the forum, just thought I'd say hi to everybody. I currently own a 28-2, 66-1, 17-5, 617, 34, 60, a 5 screw 32-20, and I just bought a m38 yesterday from a 83 year old woman, whose husband carried the gun daily while operating their business. The gun has some wear from going in and out of a pocket all those years, but it's as tight as the day it left the factory. She said her husband retired two would-be robbers over the years, one permanetly. The serial no. is 219xxx, anybody know what year it was made. I'm thinking early sixties because of the flat latch.
