I too hope you bought big enough. 16 years ago I took delivery of a Liberty Lincoln 35 while in the thro's of a raging case of chickenpox, my first childhood disease acquired at age 33. When my Wife saw it she hit the roof! Fussed for days, now a bunch of her stuff is clogging it up, unimportant things like jewelry. It is now packed to the gills and I've had to get another, which triggered another round of fussin'.
I thought about just getting a bigger safe but figured two safes would be harder to get into than just one.
You'll never regret your decision, there is just something so comforting about locking things up in there, I can leave home with one less worry.

Tool Box???? No that's a Toy Box or Toy Chest. Looks nice congratulations

barry, looks good to me. need to fill it up with smiths so you can get another one for off brands and long guns. lee

Lee, what makes you think it isn't already full of Smiths? ;)

Open up! Show us what you got in there!

GLG, I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

Is it going to be big enough....

Bob

Probably not in the long run, but it hit my budget about right...

...I might suggest some rope lighting for the inside as a nice touch- it works for me.

Andy, already got that on my list. Ordered a Golden Rod today...

Smith, Don't have a wife to deal with both fortunately and unfortunately. Won't regret the decision and yeah, it feels good to lock things up.

To all, thanks for the nice replies, now it's off to the man cave to watch a movie.... I know "man cave" isn't PC but I have a feeling y'all don't really care too much for PC anyway...:p

Safe Lighting

Barry, Instead of offing the PC Al Gore light bulb with a NIB custom SW 1500 30-06 I put the bulb to good use and preserved the virginity of the rifle. It is now the lighting in my rifle safe. Thanks for the karma. I hope that one safe is large enough. I found out the hard way, one just don't cut it.

Of course! Now I know what they mean by that phrase, "elephant in the room"!

.... How is this one secured? Lag bolts in the floor?

It will be bolted to the floor. Just had it a few hours and hadn't made it to that yet.

Perfect, Al would be proud, but then... who cares what he thinks?

Of course! Now I know what they mean by that phrase, "elephant in the room"!

That's an understatement....:D

I was shocked to see this..mine is just like it..name brand and all..went and made sure mine was still there..but I quickly learned it is too small..and did you get a built-in dehumidifier?..I have two cannisters in mine and have to deal with them once a month..love it..but have not had to move it yet either..so will reserve judgement on that..all5x

l..and did you get a built-in dehumidifier?....but have not had to move it yet either..

Got a Golden Rod coming in the mail. I paid to have it moved in, if I ever move, will pay then too. 700 lbs. is a tad over my limit these days...
