New Trigger?

Hey There Rob1,

All the best for 2018 bro....

I am in process of renewing my FAC and am thinking of adding a can to my 15-22, I am going to get my boy into shooting this summer when we can get outdoors, the can will help. Do i have to put the addition of a can on my application or do you not have to declare them ( I can confirm with my FLO but thought i'd pick your brains) a can... alongside with my LBP variation hehehehehehe. :D

Peace.

Hi.

I use a CAN sometimes and sometimes not.

Subsonics work fine with the can and with Standard Velocity too.

SV also work fine without the CAN.

I run the 24c plus Gen2 Mod2 KNS pins.

IMHO, a great combo. Zero issues since I installed and I love it.

Once you have tried a few rounds of different stuff you’ll be fine.

Have faith in your choices and ability to install.

Shoot safe and have fun.

Rob.

Thanks for the info. That's my 9 year old Christmas gift, He said the trigger is too hard to pull, So I upgrade it to 243G.

That is what he spend time on Christmas day.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Fine looking son you have there. And quite the marksman. I bet he really enjoys the rifle and shooting with dad. :)

Hi B

Thanks for the salutations

A very good 2018 to you and yours my man.

Yes you will need to specify that you want the sound mod.. just ask for a Rimfire Mod. Tell them it’s for hearing protection / noise abatement and you should be fine.

Each sound mod is classed as a firearm so has to be declared and secured and accounted for with every check you have.

My FLD “lost “ 2 of mine when my ticket went in for variation.
They forgot to include them on reprinted ticket. Only took 6 months for them to rectify ( mean while I was technically in possession of 2 illegal firearms ) they didn’t like it when I pointed out their mistake either.
You only asking for LBP? Hell man. Put in your wish list. You have 5 years to fill the slots.
My renewal saw an extra 8 items added to mine.

I got them all too. :D

Now to find the cash to fill the last 3 slots.....:D:D

Got a chance yesterday, when to local indoor range and try it out the new Hiperfire 243G, shot 100 round of CCI SV with the Sparrow. 99 round go bang and cycle well with the SV ammo, 1 round is a dud and take a look the casing it had a good hammer strike to it, so I fired the same round again and nothing happened. It's a dud for sure. I like the 15-22, It's most reliable and accurate .22LR I own, Now I have 9 .22LR gun.

I’m not quite there yet but heading that way. I have 6 at the moment. I know there is at least two more, maybe three. So much fun to shoot and cheap to feed!

You will get there soon Lol , You are from PA? My home town is in North hill Pittsburgh.

Gun is not cost that much, without ammo is just a expensive paper weight. That's why I like 22LR

LOL. Old thread but.... I believe my initial pull on my Hiperfire 24C was around a spit over 1 lb and under 1.5. After having fired thousands of rounds in the past 8 years or so, I tested it (along with others) with both my digital and older mechanical gauges. The best I can determine is somewhere between 0.75 and 1.0 lbs. And I'm still smoking armadillos with it though I wish they'd go extinct. I now have 16 trail cameras set up in my immediate yard with 2 more on the way. Gets very old getting up between midnight and 5am to hunt them down. I'm typically on their last photo location within 90 seconds. Perhaps half the time nowhere to be seen.
