Purchased my 1st revolver at the tender age of 51. It is a Model 27-9. Yes, it's a "holely-gun", but I don't care. I love it even with this "fault". It's a gun that I can grow into and love the feel of how it becomes an extention of my arm and how it seems to eat up the recoil of even the hottest .357 loads.
Have any of you old-timers compared Models 27-[1-8] with the newest version? If so how does it stack up?
