New Washington state AWB?

I can't link from the computer at work. But on my way in tonight, I heard on a local top of the hour news (Seattle) broadcast, that some knob head in Olympia is trying to re-introduce the AWB for Wa. state again?
Could someone sniff around a bit for me and find out if it's legit?

This is likely a repeat of the bill they ran in 2005 (SB 5475?) -- it never even got a hearing back then. 2010 is an election year. Most rural Democrats won't touch a gun control bill this time around. The two Senators and one Rep who appeared at the press conference today are all hard-core anti-gunners from safe Democrat districts.

Kline will likely run his a/w bill and a gun show bill as well. Unless something turns the world upside down between now and the end of the session (March 11), I don't expect to see any nastiness pass.

I just saw this on King 5 News. They just made some general comments about banning semi-auto rifles with a capacity of 15or more rounds while showing an AR-15 punching holes in a target. Same old thing from the anti gun nut jobs. I can't see it getting any traction with all the new post election gun owners in the state. It's always wise to keep an eye on these things though.

After the shooting of two PCSO deputies a few days ago, the Seattle Times is focusing on the dead miscreant's guns, and editorializing for "reasonable" gun control laws.

The ignore the fact that the shooter, David Crable, was reported to have assaulted his daughter a short time ago. He was not charged with domestic violence assault, a conviction which would have taken his guns away. Did the daughter decline to file charges? Did the prosecutor reduce the charges?

But that won't stop the latte-swilling limousine liberal elitist trash from calling for more restrictive gun laws.
