According the a Pew Research study released in March 2025, in the US 19% of respondents self-identify as Catholic, a 20% decrease from 2007. For every 100 people who join the Catholic Church, 840 leave, a rate nearly 5 times higher than Protestants are leaving. And 32% of those former Catholics become Protestants.

Actually one Priest reported that he was a very good cook and had made them all pizza when he was in Peru.
