No one who is planning suicide as soon as they finish slaughtering first graders is going to risk having to write on a future job application that they were arrested for over loading a magazine!

The DA said he will review each case on its merits, but he was not making a political statement.

Knowing NY state law I will not be surprised if he loses his permit on the driving violations that he was stopped for.

As many sheriffs and some county clerks said they have not the time or money to implement this onerous law, they are being attacked and threatened by our want to run for POTUS governor.

In Florida that would be illegal unless securely encased in a holster.

That is absolutely not true if one has a valid Concealed Weapons Permit. If you have a CWP, it just needs to be concealed. If the person does NOT have a CWP, you are correct.

We can also leave it un holstered in a glove box or center console.

Yes, that is how people without CWP's should probably do it.

Sure Sucks! But as you said, The law is "The LAW!" LEO just doing his job, but I feel sorry for the poor bugger. ...

Yeah, the law is just the law, like when it was the law in Germany to place certain "undesirables" in camps and gas them, and the fellas doing it were just enforcing "the law".

I can guarantee that if I were on a jury and this came in front of me, this guy would be acquitted or a hung jury would ensue. "The law" my ***.

Have he not had the suspended license, I wonder if going into his gun is a legal search. The NYSP site said the troopers "made the gun safe". What if I don't want my gun made safe?
