Night Guard series production totals?

Production numbers are not TOP SECRET. They are just not as important of a fact to the manufacturer as they are to a collector or hobbyist. Prior to computerizing, they did not bother tracking such trivia. Performance Center production is commonly known because the folks that commissioned the run usually make that a selling point.

As to Night Guards, I think that Scandium is the greatest thing to happen to N-frames since stainless steel. Yes they are more expensive. If a hundred or so dollars is more important to you than getting the revolver you really want, there are other choices for you.

I keep my firearms for 10-20-30 years or more. On that basis buying a revolver that is $200 higher than a similar offering is not very expensive.

For those 10MM revovler owners, if you handload you can open up a whole new range of performance by having your cylinder rechamberd for the 10MM Magnum cartridge. Then you can shoot 40S&W, 10MM Auto or 10MM Magnum all in the same revolver.

It is the 10MM Magnum cartridge that folks are actually referring to when they say a 10MM's power is on the same level as the 41 Magnum. They just do not realize they are misquoting all of those old magazine articles when they talk about the 10MM Auto cartridge.

Which of the Night Guards have scandium in their aluminum? Does the Governor have scandium?

The .45 ACP NG is probably the best of the breed. It throws a big bullet at any velocity that the shooter can handle. Full .41 and .44 Magnum loads are brutal but the mid-range loads like the Speer Gold Dot 200 grain .44 Magnum Short Barrel Load is excellent.

I have one of the .41s and shoot mainly 210s or 230 Keiths with 8.0 grains of Unique which runs 950 from a 4".

10 yards double action...12 rounds with each gun...657 MG, 357PD and a 657 3"...
