I bought a Apex Tactical Trigger spring set for my SW40VE with Stainless Slide. The Video How to Shows driving out a roll pin from the top of the slide. My slide has no pin or hole for it to be in. Anyone seen this before and know what I should do next?

good, yes the SD and sigmas have a totally different setup for the extractor. The extractor spring is held in by the rear plate it places force on the plate so you have to pry it off, not like in the video. I have a Sw9F had the same trouble with the video.

hbaird: make sure you have the correct APEX kit for your pistol. The SD pistol spring set is not for use in a SW pistol, or vice versa. The pistols are different. While the SD series of pistols owes it's heritage to the SW9(SIGMA) series of pistols, the 2 guns are laid out differently. SW9/40VE series pistols has G***k like extractor set up. Rear slide plate must be removed to access extractor and related parts. The SD9/40VE series does not. Extractor is a pin and rocker style. Not easily removable w/o tools(punch and hammer), but give very good and reliable, long term service. S&W has used them for many years, and knows how to make them.

I got the SW40VE kit. The problem is the Video at Apex for both kits uses the SD for the Demo. And never tells you it is the SD and not the SW. So the confusion.
