Noob price check please model 36

Any thoughts as to if 400 is a decent price for this model 36 no dash? I am completely new to the revolver game so be gentle.
Looks to me to at least be reblued. Awaiting reply to see if there are any documents or a box.

I agree, $400 is a decent price for a no dash in that condition.

I have often seen them sell for $500 so $400 IMO was a decent price.

At that price I'd be a bit surprised if there were box and papers, but I would want the sn on the right stock to match.

Doesn't look like refinished to me either. Definitely a good buy @ $400, especially so if it comes with box, docs and cleaning tools.

I doubt it as well. He has had it for sale for about a month now.
This would be my first revolver as well we will see how it goes in the morning.

That's good to hear. Funny, since you acknowledged "first revolver", means you already know that it won't be your ONLY revolver! I hope you get it. The M36 Chiefs Special will make a great first revolver!
BTW, I'm a 40+ years fan of the mighty 1911. I also have a "few" of them.
