Hubby got me a belated Christmas present. I'm so excited, I've wanted a Henry with an octagon barrrel for quite awhile. can't wait for Sunday so I can go try it out.

Congrats! You will love it. Is that the .22? I have the Golden Boy and like it so much I went in debt to get the Big Boy in .357. Have not shot that one yet. Have fun!

It's a Golden Boy. I like shooting 22s, it's affordable so I can get lots of practice.

Just got a .22 GB myself a few weeks ago. Haven't shot it yet either. Hear they are fun to shoot!

They are so pretty I almost feel like it's a shame to shoot it, but I'm sure I'll get over that.

Glad they put a brass band on them now instead of the plastic one.

Did you try yours yet Aircommando?

Had mine out last weekend and again today. It shot high out of the box, but a quick adjustment brought that down. It's a really accurate fun rifle and definitely a keeper.

The range was packed today -first sunny day in awhile where you can go shoot without freezing your fingers off and the GB got lots of looks. So did the 17-4, lots of young new folks there.

Sometimes being a dinosaur is okay.

Not a GB, but I have a regular blue Henry .22 (H0001) and I love it.
