Not Your Average Victory

I'm of two minds on this one. The work is impeccable and tasteful (although I'm not fond of jeweled hammers and triggers). But why lavish this attention on a Victory? A Combat Masterpiece would've been a better choice. At least it's a gun you needn't letter.

The Jaeger shop engraved many guns post WWII for GIs. There were lots of Victory revolvers around after the war for little, or more likely, no cost. There are quite a few Jaeger marked guns although many (most?) were by other craftsmen in his shop but marked with his name. The one in the link is perhaps the nicest example of one I've seen. The oak leaf motif is great and those stocks are pretty nice too.
