Did any of you receive a DVD from the NRA in June stating if you wish not to receive the series, you had to return the DVD?

The latest letter says since I didn't order it, I am under no obligation to return or be charged.

I just don't like stuff like this. Reminds me of the old 10 records for just a dime from days if yore.

I remember once the "north american fishing club" sending me books like that and under the same circumstances. I hadnt been a member for a few years and called to let them know there had been a mistake and they tried telling me that i owed them 19.99 because the next book was on the way.

I remember that with the NA fishing club and hunting club.

Who remembers the Columbia House music CD scam? Eight CD's, just pay shipping and buy 8 more at the regular price....or something like that.

even after completing your obligation they just kept sending albums (cassette tapes for me) - once a month, then the bill...

you know they quit sending them after you get 4 or 5 and you don't pay for them (I would have sent them back, if they would have sent a postage paid envelope with them)
I ramble...

When the NRA did a similar Promo a few years ago and sent "unwanted" merchandise that they wanted you to sign up for as subscription, that's when I went ballistic (had received at least one request for money every day the at least a week), and I had them take my name off all mailing lists. Yes, it can be done, and you will not receive any solicitations. I watch their site, and contribute when I can, but I don't want their junk mail.
