Boys, I promise this is my last post here. Waveform passed on his membership win, already being a member to, MSgt G. MSgt G. as a result of reading this post took it upon himself to join the NRA before the drawing ended. Upon informing him of Waveform passing membership to him, he asked that we join up his wife. So, "that is the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey used to say. We got two birds, albiet of the same nest, witih one stone. Thanks Waveform. We now have not one, but two new members.

This is heading your way today. Stelzigs Saddlery was an institution in Houston, Tx. for years. They are long out of business. I used to buy my horsin gear downtown, years ago. Don't know the history of this holster but we could make up sumpin cool. Please let me know it arrives safely and you are pleased. I grabbed a 4" 66 to show proper fit. I believe that Stelzigs closed their doors in the mid to late 70s and that would be a pretty close, period correct, for your 19. Hope you enjoy it.

Hey Bill - thanks for posting the photos! Now I'm even more excited - that will be the perfect holster for my 1973 vintage 19-3 Texas Rangers Commemorative. Since you posted a photo of the holster I'll post a photo of the gun now. And later a photo of them together. Thanks again!

Here it is as promised - my new-to-me holster made by Stelzig Saddlery Co., Houston, Texas for my 4" Model 19-3 Texas Rangers Commemorative! A beautifully tooled vintage holster that pairs PERFECTLY with my vintage (1973) 19-3. If I were to search for the perfect vintage holster I would never locate one this nice. Top quality leather, lined, hand tooled and shows only some honest wear (just like the gun.)
