Purchased my first AR-15 over the weekend and joined the NRA the other day. I should've joined a few years back. I also shouldn't have waited so long to buy my AR-15; accessories are so scarce. I think I'm going to buy my dad a 2 year membership for part of his bday gift.

I dont know if I trust them moon there about as anti gun as news gets. I could see them making up some fake number to help push American's into thinking the NRA is not very powerful and to deter some from joining.

a reporter was making some statements about the NRA

still having a Favorable feeling among 54% of Americans.

She was also discussing the CLOUT held by them, especially

in many congressional districts.

I've spent a almost 3 hours on the phone waiting in the course of 4 days trying to take part of that $300 life membership sponsor deal, which is now being cracked down on... I'll try again as time permits and hopefully they do a payment plan on the $600 lifer deal.

Last I heard, there were on average of 6 to 8000 new members per day...perhaps 225,000 new members would be more realistic, yes?

Guys, think about those numbers! I joined two weeks ago and got my number in an email last week. 100,000 in just 18 days, that's an average of 5,555 a day! Those are staggering numbers. If only we could keep that up all year.
