Don't give up calling and joining the NRA. It's hard to get in touch with them because so many people are waking up and calling to join. I'm signing up as many people as I can. I have offered to pay the first year from some of my former co-workers, but so far they have all signed up on their own.

There have been several public opinion polls that place the daily numbers of new NRA memberships at 8000 per day since Sandy Hook, dwarfing all previous trends. The message is quite clear, IMO....Americans have had more then enough with all these useless gun control measures which have not addressed the issues of violence in the past, and most certainly will not reduce the incidence of gun violence from this point forward. We need to address drug violence, inner city gang violence, failing secondary education, violence in Hollywood media, violence in our electronic games, enforcing existing gun laws to the T, providing scholarship incentives for military and law enforcement career training, a return to institutionilizing (humanely this time) the chronically and dangerous mentally ill.......

I've spent a almost 3 hours on the phone waiting in the course of 4 days trying to take part of that $300 life membership sponsor deal, which is now being cracked down on... I'll try again as time permits and hopefully they do a payment plan on the $600 lifer deal.
it's mind boggling, why is it so hard to get someone at the NRA to take my money... TAKE MY MONEY NRA

This actually made me like the NRA even more. Even my co-workers agreed that him as well as other politicians have guns protecting them, their children, or carry CCW's, yet they do not allow us to do the same. They made a valid point. In fact, if politicians say that guns kill people, they should lead by example and call off all armed protection. They should be much safer since the "dangerous" guns are not around to manipulate peoples' mind and make them kill others.

Damn! I signed my wife up also & she didn't know it until I told her after the fact. She thought it was great though especially when I came home with an NRA cap. I forfeited the magazine prescription though to help reduce their cost of membership. I also did the "round up the price" when I bought from Midway. If your not aware lets say you buy something from them for $26. you could round it up to an even $30 & they send the difference into the NRA (So I hope).
We need to keep pouring it on. I'd like to see 10 million NRA members!

Say what? The President is questioning the ability of all of us to protect our children!
I dont' agree with the NRA on everything but when all is said and done they are out front and engaged and that is what we need right now.

So you are ok with the "elites" having protection that they want to take from the rest of us? We all want the president's kids protected, its just that we'd like the same thing for our kids and obviously the "elites" feel differently about that. The NRA ad was spot on.

Then you think president's daughters are better than my son, your daughter or any other children in America? NO SR. All children (and people) have the right to be protected in the same way. That's the reason why I became NRA Life Member today.
