I've been working for years to get gun owners in New York State to join the NRA and NYSRPA. It's an uphill battle.

Some of them will pay for property in Vermont or Pennsylvania for their post-ban toys, but won't shell out $35/year for an NRA membership or $25/year for a NYSRPA membership.

However, I won't stop trying.

Some how I think they are getting the second amendment and NYS eminent domain laws mixed up. Sure hope they like lawsuits...

I have had this same battle for years. It's the same thing when I tell gun owners. "They can't do that. " "It won't happen" and so on and so forth. Well, people need to get their heads out of their backsides and realize that "can't" and "won't" have arrived.

If this truly is the case, then I have two words for Gov. Cuomo: BRING IT. DC v. Heller will be the bedrock for litigating any proposed civil rights violations.

I wouldn't rely on this Supreme Court, not after Roberts went to the dark side on Obama Care.
