O.k. .......now what?

I've sent the NRA a check, and corresponded with my Congresswoman and two Senators, and recieved assurances from all of them they have our back on any gun control legislation.

What should be my next step?

I would say... Making sure that every gun owner joins the NRA! I just got my membership today

and be prepared to hear all sorts of anti rhetoric about 'the power of the gun lobby'

Of course, they don't mention that the NRA and other pro 2A organizations are supported by member dues from many individual firearms owners. There are no billionaires, foundations, or other organizations providing the money and the grass roots effort.
