Cabela's: Remington® .22 LR Rimfire Ammunition

Update:
Even though it was still is a little high for my liking, I added (2) to my cart to see if I could add more than the limit. It changed it to 1 but then I noticed that a previous item (CCI Tactical .22lr 375rnds) that was added a few weeks back was still in my cart and "in stock". I checked the site again and it was no longer available. I went ahead and placed the order and it went through. Kinda weird. Let's see what happens.

Note that this is a subsonic round.... the photo shows 'Golden Bulllets', which I don't think are subsonic. Last time Cabellas had this in stock I placed two separate orders, (boxes I received were 'Subsonics') I would try calling as I think a few people had success getting multiple boxes. 1 box per order works out to 0.13 per round.... even if you can order just two, with shipping it's down to 0.10 per round which is easier on the wallet.

True. I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for the CCI Tactical rounds left in my cart a few weeks back that still showed "in stock". Plus the Remingtons are subsonic but wanted to try them out anyways. My order came to a little less than 0.09/round...

Open Range pawn shop in Flomaton, AL has several cases of Centurian .22 LR. I stopped in yesterday because their sign says 'plenty of .22 shells'. A box of 50 is $8.75 plus tax, or about $9.50 per 50 round box.

I prefer dealing with local businesses, but that's too rich for my blood, so I passed.

If you are in south Alabama or the Florida panhandle and absolutely need ammo, they should have some for a while.
