OFFICIAL Using Wal-Mart App/Website

I have not had any luck using this app for SoCal. Even when I am at the store and I look up the 1 or 2 boxes that are on the shelf it says out of stock. I have had some luck just looking each time I am in the neighborhood.

Found 3 boxes of Rem UMC 250 packs at my closest WM last night. I went for sweet tea and swung by sg and they had Fed 100 rnd packs as well. All had been on the shelf for 4 hours with no takers. Wish my wife had gone with me. It's gone this morning or I would go back.

I got 100 round Federal 9mm packs and 12 gauge yesterday. They had .22 225 packs today, but I didn't go. I went shooting instead.

Of course, by using this App, you're letting WalMart have all sorts of information about your computers and your buying habits. You can bet your hard drive is loaded with WM cookies galore.

Ain't nothing free...

I don't get much info with a big chief tablet and number two pencil! Could care less who does what! I take care of me and mine! Savvy!

Took a month or so off for our Summer vacation, think it's time to start stacking again!

App shows 223 and 9mm As "In Stock".

Even the WM android app isn't invasive. Some apps want access to your phone book, browsing history, emails, contacts, etc.

So does the government. I have only put about 3 apps on my phone because many ask for all kinds of permissions. Why does a ringtone app need to have access to my location?

They had high velocity 22 shorts tonight. I bought all of them.

Buying habits? I bet there has not been one single item searched for in the app besides ammo the last 6 months. They must think I am a prepper LOL.

Oh, have not stopped in here in awhile but I have scored a boat load of Federal .223 100 round packs the last month, all the ususal 22 9 and 45, and just bought 400 rounds of 45 and 200 rounds of 9mm last night to replace what I shot.

:)

Has anyone noticed these discrepancies with the Walmart apps?

1. My Android phone WM app shows Fed. 9mm, 50 ct as "Inventory stock unavailable" this morning (I'll go pick some up), but my IPAD app shows " Not carried at your store". Both are showing the correct & same location.

2. What the app/website shows as Winchester WinClean 40 S&W isn't really WinClean, it's Win USA and reflected so in the price and MFG Model number Q4238.

It's not perfect but it works for me!

Cokeman, you seem to be the only one getting ammo these days. Must be that all the shipments are going to Utah. :-)

I just watch the app. I've been shooting more this year than I did last year. I thought this would be a dry year when the ammo shortage started. I did get a couple of new guns this spring though. The funny thing is that my wife thinks it's important to get ammo when it's available.

I haven't had any luck with WM app. Just by chance, I stopped by local WM yesterday and was able to get some White-box JHP .40 (50 round) for $20 each. Checked WM app when I got back to my car and it said they had none in stock. Maybe this app requires store participation? A lot of extra hassle for stores, if that's the case.

I'm sure the stores don't do anything different. The app and site should be tied into their computer system.

Are you sure the WWB was JHP? I've seen FMJ 50 round boxes for $20.

Made a run today to see my daughter in Fayetteville , Arkansas from Springfield , Missouri and then on to Grand Lake in NE Oklahoma. I ran the app several times and scored 600 rounds of Fed 9 and some 38 special for my son. He picked up a Rossi 971 357 4 inch yesterday and the 357 rounds kicked my tail. Can't wait to try the 38 special in it. It is very accurate but a little harsh in 357 for target shooting.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1372979276.204305.jpg
