OJ, Pulp Free, Pulp, High Pulp?

To quote the Florida’s Natural carton in the frig: “Some Pulp”. I like all OJ but that’s what I usually grab in the store. Either that of grape fruit juice which has about the same amount of pulp.

It’s good to see the critical issues of the day debated by forum intellectuals. ;)

Why would someone want pulp free OJ? I always buy High Pulp because it taste so much better. My favorite brand is Simply Orange but Florida Natural is good too. I drink a lot of OJ and the price is cheap. I checked the labels and the nutritional values are the same, carbs are the same.

For you OJ drinkers, pulp free, pulp, or high pulp?

High Test Baby, I like to get my moneys worth, the pulp tastes more like fresh squeezed. billy magg

that's what I love about you guys, solving the world's great problems one thread at a time.....

you guys way down south are fortunate to have citrus growing down there.
a 1.89 litre jug of premium oj is $5.69here, like kosmic says you gotta dilute it with something to keep the costs down ...remember Harvey Wall Bangers?

High/Most Pulp, either the HEB brand of a Texas market chain that includes the gourmet Central Market stores or Florida Natural at other stores.

I also seek out the Swiss brand Hero for jams and preserves. It seems to have more of a fruit tang to it and normal fruit inclusions. The price acrtually dropped recently at my favorite store, from $4.49 to $3.99. Some of their fruit spreads are now from Germany, but keep the same standards. My favorites are blackberry and red raspberry and a Forest Berry that includes three berries.

But Smucker's orange marmalade is also an exceptional value.

I like medium pulp. If I had my druthers it would be a large glass of unsweetened grapejuice. Nothing better for cutting the morning sludge from your mouth.

Mushrooms grow faster here than oranges ever would. Frost peach trees do pretty well but that’s about it for orange colored fruit.

Old fashioned jam is very easy to make when the berries are ripe. I always lay in a year’s supply with a little extra to give away.

HEB Rocks! I wish they were in Oklahoma. Whenever I go to Texas to see my folks I hit HEB a few times.

Like the pulp - but others are fine.

Usually followed by a Zantac. Years ago, it did not cause heartburn. Does now.
