Just got back into shooting and this time I chose the discipline of Bullseye. Acquired a 1911PC in SS and can't be any happier, as it is very well made that all it needed is a little breaking in with factory loads of 230gr FMJ (500 rnds.+).
Have been getting a lot of oohs and ahs at the range and I think I've gotten some S&W converts along the way.
My other pistol is a Colt NMGC smithed to be a wadcutter gun which shoots 2.5" groups (single hand held) @ 50yds.
The PC is just about there and methinks it's only me that keeps it from shooting any better, maybe some more breaking in is needed(with the shooter, that is...).
The PC's barrel may still be tight because it's chronying 50+ fps slower than the Colt using the same loads of 3.7gr. of Bullseye powder pushing 200gr LSWC.
Whats your opinion on that?
