Na.......Iffen you INSPECT your cases you can get more than five.....Iffen you don't firewall your loads. You can get more than 5.
Iffen the primer pocket is still tight.....The case is not split.....You run a bent paper clip down in the case and drag it up the side. If you don't feel a bump...You are good to go........I have 30-06 cases that have been loaded more than 5.....The only downside is after loading many times some rifle cartridges necks won't "spring back" to it's smaller size and won't hold the bullet as tight resulting in slightly lower velocity.
All my pistol brass(auto & revolver) gets loaded until the brass gets neck splits. Which may be 10 reloads or more.
