Open carry deters armed robbery in Kennesaw

Two customers displaying holstered pistols deterred an armed robbery in a Kennesaw Wafflehouse recently....

Chalk up one for the good guys!!!. Although open carry is legal in N.C. it is about as rare as hens teeth to see anyone doing so. I have given it some thought lately to to find out if I would get any coments. If I decide to try it I'll let everyone know what happens.

Any one who trys to rob a store in Kennesaw, Georgia is dumb as a box of rocks. They have been open carrying for years in that town, as a matter of fact they pased a law years ago requiring that all Kennesaw residents own a firearm of some sort. This law was in response to some town in Illinois banning the possesion of handguns.

It sounds like a press release from the NRA. I wish the LEO's in my county would have this attitude. Around here the story would have been different.
