Optics Planet lag time

Ordered a Nikon P-223 3x32 scope on sale it's finally on the way it will be 4 wks kinda long in my mind to save $30 was just yesterday going to cancel order hope it's worth the wait

Good luck! I've never completed an order with them - I gave up and cancelled, myself, after a similar period. Others have gotten good deals, but I now ignore their results when they turn up in purchase searches.

I have ordered a few small low-cost odds and ends from them and their delivery on those items was just fine.

I've had the same experience, it took two weeks to get my order. I don't think they stock anything. You order, they order from the manufacture or a supplier, if they are out of stock, then you wait.

I guess I've been lucky. I've purchased numerous scopes and a bunch of bases/rings from Optics Planet and though the delivery wasn't remarkable, I was never frustrated enough to stop shopping there. Remember that hunting season is right around the corner and it's an election year...

Going through the same delay ( up to 8 weeks for delivery) on a magpul pro front/rear sight. Just received notification rear sight to ship within 1-3 days but no availability for front sight.

Also noticed when I go to order from OpticsPlant I'm sent to the Amazon web sight to order under (OpticsPlanet) but I need to sign in with my Amazon password to order.

I placed my order on August 12.

Not to be offensive but don't think scopes really come into play as a hard to attain item during a election year vs firearms ammo mags 4 wks is way to long just my 2¢

Unless they changed their website, they don't list things as out of stock.

I ordered a scope a couple years ago only to find out a week later it was out of stock.

I've found if you call and ask if what you want is in stock before ordering you wont have a problem.
