I know of a half a dozen guns go off in the holster.
None of which appear to have anything to do with normal carry of a modern D/A revolver or semi-auto.
I don't carry a single action revolver for self-defense, nor would I ever.
The answer to question number 2 you answered yourself. I carry 4 rounds in my model 36.
That's your right.
It's might right to consider that simply absurd. If you have that much distrust of modern firearm, you probably ought to consider not carrying at all. Certainly you've chosen to give any potential assailant... or GROUP of assailant's an unnecessary advantage. Again, your choice, albeit a foolish one.
Question number 3 is an interesting question. I choose to be aware at all times.
One can be BOTH "aware" AND unprepared. If you expect that every assailant is going to announce his intention BEFORE he becomes your assailant you're fooling yourself.
Self-defense with a LOADED firearm is hard enough. Adding unnecessary handicaps makes no sense.
And for the last statement, on this you are dead wrong as I think out everything I do or say. So much so, the people I claim as friends accuse me of over thinking everything.
They certainly seem to be onto something...
