I was surprised yesterday to have a buddy who owns a gun shop show me a NIB pinned and recessed 629. I gave him $700 without checking anywhere. How'd I do?

You did great no matter what barrel length it is and an especially great deal if it's a 4 inch model. I have the set of 3 with the 4,6, 8 3/8 barreled model 629 no dash.

You did good for a NIB 629. You would have done better with some pictures.

Speaking of pics, where is your's fyimo? Always enjoy your pics.

A thread about 629's and no picture!?!
I'm first in line for Art's 4" gun. After all, it seems only right Art;)......

My picture's aren't anywhere near as good as Art's or Doc44's, but here's one-

Congrates on the new 629. Great guns.
I have a 4" P&R 629 with 4". I've had it awhile and shot it some but wonder what my gun would be worth. It's in great shape. Anyone have a idea?

It's hard to say as prices vary by location and condition. I would say $750 to $850 if it's in excellent condition and you have all the goodies.

Thanks Art

Hey Art & others
Thanks Art, but no one with the 4" guns has caught the difference with my 4", yet? If you look close at my 4" gun you will NOT see the pinned barrel. My 4" gun is a " transistion" gun, recessed cylinder, N serial prefix, but no pinned barrel!
