pancakes or waffles?

Waffles please. (Pancakes are too filling. I can eat more waffles!) Oh, I'd like 3 or 4 sausage patties with that also. :)

Honesty, neither...

Its like just pouring dough and sugar into your body. With that said, I'm all about some eggs, sausage (links of course), biscuits and gravy. :D

...plug it in, wait 15 min to heat up (the hardest part is waiting) and pour on the batter.

So true. I find that works for the skillet, too. Get surface hot, then throw in meat, batter, etc., and it doesn't seem to stick as bad.

Pancakes or waffles? Both, with some chocolate chips thrown in. P.S. I make my own syrup out of Mapeline...anybody else?

Had to make this decision just last night-in spite of the extra work, waffles from my Grandmaws 50+ yr old iron. Just like Loutents-well seasoned, cloth covered cord and stored with a paper towel inside. I have my M.I.L's 60+ yr old maker that needs the element replaced. It's one of the oldest one's I've seen with removable grids, easy to clean and cooks really well.

Doesn't matter which to me, they're both good. Now that I'm a diabetic, I use the sugar free fake maple. Not as good as the real thing, but just like diet pop, I'm getting used to it. I do most of the cooking in the house, so more often than not its pancakes, 'cause they are a little faster.

I like em' both, plenty of butter, but we use Sugar Cane Syrup around here.

Waffles are a better design -- No-Skid pancake.

I like Roy Baker pancakes the best. They're
gettin' hard to find. No syrup, just plain, a little chewie, but the best pancakes ever made.

Waffles - - - They hold more maple syrup and PEANUT BUTTER ! ! !

OK, OK, so my 7 year-old grandson is guilty of allowing me to relive my childhood! And I had completely forgotten how much I liked them! :D :D :D

Love'em both. Esp. with real maple syrup. Yumm.

Me too , but I've taken to use honey on mine. Local farmers mart carries some local honey in various 'flavors'. Traditional clover , blueberry , buckwheat , a few others I forget , and my favorite , wildflower.

Being a single guy that doesn't drink milk or eat eggs , I never buy either. I used to love the Aunt Jemima frozen pancake batter. Came in paper pint-size milk cartons in traditional or buttermilk. Good stuff. Can't find it anymore though.
