I called S&W direct. They had them in stock. I ordered two of them. I lost my spring on a Sunday and emailed them asking how to order one. Monday morning, I also called them and was able to place an order. Wouldn't you know it, after I placed the order they responded to me about my email and said they sent me one free of charge AND I found my damn spring later that day. So, I will have 3 spares.
