PC Recon-9 and Recon-45....anyone Own and carry these?

I owned one for years kept it in the safe the whole time. I have 1 PC shorty 9s and one 6906 PC the first model. I have carried that one over 20 years, shot it in many competitions and beat it up quite a bit. It still shoots quarter size groups at 25 yards. As far as the 9 Recon, when I retired I sold a few of my guns to young guys I had trained and shot with on the pistol team. One wanted the 9 Recon badly. So for the price I paid for it arond 800 he got the unfired gun, silver case , paperwork, mags -4 extra mags, yes the Hogue grips, and the original white shipping carton. He was a happy guy. I was never a fan of front serrations or big print anyway. I was suprised I had a closeup of it in my file .along with my old 6906, before it got used a bunch..

I have a 45Recon , a shooter , and a nib 9Recon . I wouldn't use either as a carry gun , but that's just me . I used to have 2 45Recons , but I sold one to a buddy . At the time he and others were cutting off the compensator and other mods to make them carry guns . I recently had a Sig Romeo mounted on mine , she goes to the range today .

If you can pick up either one , consider yourself lucky . I myself am on the hunt for a 40Recon , hopefully a shooter . Not that I wouldn't buy a nib specimen , but I do like my PC shooters .
