Penn Bullets - Report your RECENT experience

I appreciate the comments on my fathers passing and and the last few months had taken its toll on my going back and forth dealing with his health care issues and the loss of our main casting guy due to a tragic accident and still running my buisness.
Joes order is being shipped as I write this as his was one of the orders that got delayed due to the varied nature of the bullets in the order which took way longer to get thru that it normally would have.
There is a small percentage of orders that got caught up in delays during this time period.
Hopefully after the holidays We can get back to a normal production schedule.
Personally I can't wait for this year to be over.

As to the Doe Run issue I have posted my comments in detail on this on my PENNBULLETS Facebook page which should give everyone some better perspective on the whole problem and what the future holds for all of us in this industry.

Further down is some info on Victor who was my main casting guy and his accident which also hit us very hard.

Could you please link that Facebook info here please ? Not all of us are on Facebook .

Anyway I remembered a thread in on 1911forum about Penn bullets earlier this month. There was a death in the family.

Robert Palermo- Penn Bullets - 1911Forum

Yea that's true, his father died recently. TrueTonto, could you let him berry his father? His bullets are worth waiting for.

I know from several other forums that there are a pack of posters that will say anything bad about Penn Bullets and they're all friends of a bullet caster that will remain unnamed. I was wondering if this first post was one of them?

Great bullets...Fast delivery

Just recieved 1000, 200gr LSWC , Less than 10 days after ordering.
Weighed 20 random samples and the maximum to minimum range was within O.7grs, as advertised.
Terrific quality control!

Caution to S&W owners though, if you shoot hand loads in their firearms, your warranty will not be honored.

I'm going to doubt that S&W wouldn't honor a warranty claim of a factory defect because a hand load went through the barrel. I think the warranty threat is for claims that would be like a cylinder explosion or some obvious (the ammo was at fault) claim. That would be pretty low down to escape totally unrelated issues for a reload going through the bore.

Here's another suggestion, unless it's the obvious double charge, gun's totaled claim...DON'T VOLUNTEER THAT KIND OF INFORMATION.
