Bob is the grip safety on yours polished on the back or just looks that way in photo. Mine is solid black Serial # is less than 100.

My 2-tone is BAM25X.

Picked it up yesterday and off to the range. Even though it is not a 1911, it is on a par with my Nighthawk. Fed everything, and the sights were well regulated out of the box. It was built in 2003 and likely never fired outside of the factory. Very nice recoil profile. Just a nice gun so I am very happy and very lucky to own her.

Glad you like it. As I said the 945 is my favorite and I am very satisfied with mine.
I just picked up my 952 but it will be a few days before I can take it out for a test drive.
