So I picked up a 15-22 performance center model on the cheap from gun broker. Figured I would have some fun and see what I could do with it after spending months lurking these pages. This will be my first attempt at the whole tacticool22 handguard adapter package.

After seeing the KMR from bravo company I was pretty set on it and luckily mine should be showing up tomorrow along with a ton of other goodies from Santa. It was a belated Xmas. :)

will follow with pictures of the work in progress.

Actually, yes lol.

Sorry for the wait guys. Got real busy and haven't had much time to take some pictures and finish up some minor stuff.

Long story short, it's pretty awesome and 100% doable with some time and elbow greese.

When I get some time tomorrow I'm gonna get some pictures up for every one.

You guys probably don't believe me anymore, lol but I sware pics are coming today.

See everyone soon.

Finally, Pictures!

at this point, all I'm waiting on is my doomsday charging handle, and possibly an ambi safety selector switch. may even spring for the NDZ tactical battery assist device.

This whole build consists of:

SW M&P15-22 performance center
Tacticool-22 barrel nut adapter/wrench kit
Bravo Company KMR 13' hand guard
Home-Made version of the noveske low-pro keymod bipod stud
Harris Bi-Pod swivel with spring loaded feet
Burris AR-332 Fixed 3x Green/red illuminated optic
Magpul flip-up BUIS front/rear
Magpul Fixed carbine stock -(milspec buffertube)
Timmney 3# pull trigger with free trigger plate from timmney)
KNS anti-walk pins
Plinker-Tactical charging handle (however the tolerances on this piece are deplorable.... which is why I'm grabbing the doomsday one)

In all honesty, im super happy with this build and the hand guard really turns this rifle into a super awesome platform. I love the low profile bipod stud, may follow suit with QD return to zero optics mount just to add to the versatility.

I'm considering getting a 9" or 10" KMR for my regular 15-22 and throwing a non magnified red dot onto it.

i have the disease boys.....

That looks great!!

How did you get the handguard so close to the upper receiver? (you did mention elbow grease in earlier post....)
