.....older more established drug ....elavil (very inexpensive.)
...antidepressant. ....Quality knee socks (GoldToe) seem to provide enough compression to help.
When not using the knee socks I wear lower leg compression sleeves. I buy Zensah as they are reasonably priced come in a variety of sizes, colors and are durable (from Zappos $40)

Elavil = amitriptyline

mtheo makes good points. Elavil, a prescription oral medication, has been around a long time and is the name brand of amitriptyline and it is very inexpensive. Once again, it is very important to start low and gradually increase the dose to a satisfactory level of symptom improvement. Quality socks and footwear can be helpful too.
