A pretty good reason to own a Barret 50, because we all know that they are only for shooting down UFO's.
Looks like PETA is in the market for drones to track hunters who "gun down deer." Hmmmm, do you need a hunting license for drones and what's the bag limit. Does anyone make a 12 ga. Drone Load?
PETA Plans to Fly Drones That Would 'Stalk Hunters' - US News and World Report
This is not going to end well for the drone!

I'm going to guess we should all calm down. My guess is that its illegal to shoot at any flying machine. Manned or unmanned. Its also against the law to drop anything from even a model airplane. We had a comment to that effect recently. So the best advice is to not shoot where you could be seen.I'd advise larger shot sizes because they'll do more damage at range that might be pretty long. Lets try #2 for fun, or even BB.

That's if they're caught north of I-10. If they get caught south it's gonna be a lot worseIn Louisiana, it is a felon to harass or stalk hunters or in any way, interefere with hunters in the field.
If PETA employs drones here, they stand to have the drone confiscated and be facing felony charges.
